CU in Space!
The Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering Department at Clarkson University has announced to students the start of a process to transition to an aerospace program.
This shift follows Prof. Buckingham’s offering of AE 460 Introduction to Spacecraft Engineering, as well as the recent hire of new faculty member Prof. Michael C.F. Bazzocchi.
“I am excited to have him come on board” - Prof. Brian Helebrook
Prof. Bazzocchi was hired to help grow the space program at Clarkson. He has an expertise in astronautics and robotics, and will be spearheading the new Astronautics and Robotics Laboratory (ASTRO Lab) at Clarkson University. Prof. Bazzocchi will be teaching AE 212 and will be introducing space curriculum into the course.
