Welcoming Two New Researchers
We are glad to announce that we have two new researchers joining our team this spring, namely, M.S. student Ben Walleshauser, and undergraduate researcher Eric Carlson.
Ben Walleshauser is from Buffalo, NY, and attended Clarkson University as an undergraduate where he majored in mechanical engineering and physics (2019-2022). He's interested in working on novel methods in the area of dynamics and control. In his free time, he enjoys long-distance running, reading, and soccer.
Eric J. Carlson is an undergraduate student at Clarkson University currently studying mechanical engineering. He began work with the ASTRO Lab when participating in the McNair Research Program, assisting in the design of an exoskeleton for firefighters and first responders. He is hoping to use his opportunity in the ASTRO Lab to learn more about graduate research in academia, as he is interested in pursuing a doctorate in a STEM field. Besides his work, Eric enjoys a range of extracurricular activities. He is part of Clarkson University’s Equestrian Team, as well as the Clarkson Theatre Company and Clarkson University’s D&D Group.
